ICC Men's T20 Rankings: England cricket team reached the top of the ICC T20 Rankings by clean sweeping South Africa in the T20 series. Twenty20 specialist and world's No.1-ranked T20I batsman Dawid Malan’s unbeaten 99 in a record partnership helped the visitors to complete a whitewash by 3-0 in the T20 series against the Proteas with a nine-wicket consolidate win in the final T20 International in Cape Town on Wednesday.

Dawid Malan played a blistering knock of 99* off just 47 deliveries including 11 fours and 5 maximum while Jos Butler 67* off 47 balls. Both Malan and Buttler produced the highest ever second-wicket partnership in men’s T20Is, as England chase down 192 runs target quite comfortably at Newlands. The emphatic victory has taken Morgan’s team to the No.1 spot in the ICC rankings above Australia. while Virat Kohli-led Team India is at No. 3 in the ICC Men's T20 Rankings.

Malan consolidates his top spot with 877 rating points and increases the gap between him and Pakistan star batsman Babar Azam, who is standing with 871 rating points. Aaron Finch is at no. 3 while Indian team Vice-captain KL Rahul is at 4th place in the standings. Run Machine Virat Kohli, the other Indian who languishing in the top 10.

Moreover, Dawid Malan has won the Player of the Match as well as the Player of the Series with his imperious batting performances.
