Earlier, Chennai Super Kings management staff & bowler Deepak Chaar tested positive for COVID. CSK was supposed to start their pre-tournament training from Friday. Support staff are still unknown, it is said that they tested positive after they landed in Dubai. Due to which now CSK have extended their quarantine period for another week.
On August 15 brought Suresh Raina announced his retirement after former Indian Captain M.S Dhoni announced his retirement. Raina announced about this by posting a post on his Instagram account.
In his Instagram post, Raina shared picture of himself with Dhoni, writing ‘It was nothing but lovely playing with you, Mahi. With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in the journey. Thank you, India. Jai Hind’.
