According to the sources, Suresh Raina’s relative is in critical condition while his uncle has died following a midnight attack in their Pathankot’s village. The attack took place when the family was sleeping on the terrace of their house. The attackers, who are still unknown attacked them with lethal weapons when they were asleep. His Bua (his father’s sister) is still fighting for her life in the hospital, while his uncle died in the attack. His cousins also sustained to injuries in the attack. Meanwhile the local police are investigating about the matter.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings 13 management staff, bowler Deepak Chaar & young bowler Rutura Gaikwad tested positive for COVID. CSK was supposed to start their pre-tournament training from Friday. Support staff names are still unknown, it is said that they tested positive after they landed in Dubai. Due to which now CSK have extended their quarantine period for another week.
On August 15 brought Suresh Raina announced his retirement after former Indian Captain M.S Dhoni announced his retirement. Raina announced about this by posting a post on his Instagram account.
