Suresh Raina returns to India, will remain unavailable for the entire tournament!
Chennai Super Kings’ official twitter handle confirmed that Suresh Raina will not be available for the 13th edition IPL & has returned to India for personal reasons.

Suresh Raina who is fondly & popularly known as Mr. IPL, will be missing from Indian Premier league for the very first time. He had a very successful career in the league & is a tremendous T20 format player. But now that he has opted out from this year’s IPL which is set to happen in UAE from 19 September, who else can put their foot in his shoes?
Suresh Raina is a key player of the CSK, his association with the franchise is very old & strong. CSK will have to announce a replacement of Suresh Raina as he left the tournament prior to its start.

According to the sources Suresh Raina was very unhappy with the hotel room he was given, he found bio-bubble security claustrophobic & wanted a room with a balcony. N. Srinivasan is very unhappy about this decision of Raina he said that ‘the sudden exit of Raina, left everyone in a bit shock’

Chennai Super Kings 13 management staff, bowler Deepak Chaar & young batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad tested positive for COVID. CSK was supposed to start their pre-tournament training from Friday. Support staff names are still unknown, it is said that they tested positive after they landed in Dubai. Due to which now CSK have extended their quarantine period for another week.
