Dream11 IPL 2020: SRH kane williamson apprehensive prior to start

With just 17 days left for one of the biggest sporting events of the world I.e.Indian Premier League, players are slowly and steadily joining their team for the upcoming season.

The 13th edition of the IPL will take place in UAE from September 19 to November 10. Three venues Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are selected for the tournament.

New Zealand and sunrises Hyderabad batsman Kane Williamson has admitted of being little apprehensive about the COVID-19 situation in the IPL as he prepares for his departure to the UAE.

The former Sunrises Hyderabad skipper is expected to reach UAE on 4th September where he will begin a one-week quarantine.

The former SRH captain said he'd once again been reminded of staying vigilant and disciplined by the recent outbreak of cases in the CSK camp.

"Obviously that's bad news," Williamson told Radio New Zealand. "You don't want to hear anybody [has] Covid. I hear they are predominantly asymptomatic, so hopefully through another lockdown period, they can come through and we'll be okay.

"There's a little bit of apprehension, certainly as you get nearer to the start thinking you do have to be extremely vigilant and disciplined."
