NADA to carry 50 tests in UAE.
Virat, Dhoni & Rohit Sharma could be tested!
Three teams will be traveling in separate batches.
The National Anti-Doping Agency will setup five dope control stations in the UAE, in each venue of the tournament I.e. Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Sharjah & in two training venues. All the Indian players have reached the destination and now are under strict quarantine.
The director general of NADA said that the dope control office has been asked to conduct in competition testing only at playing venues. Apart from urine samples, some blood samples might be collected too, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma & MS Dhoni could be tested.
There will be three teams travelling to UAE, in separate batches, & will be leaving by 1st week of September. Earlier, Kohli had stressed that, one mistake from any player could spoil the entire tournament, in a video of virtual team meeting of RCB, which was tweeted by them.
All the Indian players, team management have reached UAE & are following the robust testing protocols set by the BCCI, teams will be under quarantine for 6 days as per the protocols. International players will be joining the team by next week.
As per Detailed Standard Operation Procedure issued by BCCI team & management staff will undergo tests on day1, day3 & day 6 of six days quarantine period in UAE.
BCCI delegation will soon reach UAE to do recce of the facilities in the UAE. Dream11 IPL 2020 will be starting from 19 September, the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians & Chennai Super Kings.
