Highlights:
The Indian Premier League's (IPL 2020) teams have started to leave for the tournament in UAE. In the main first clump of the groups, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals are leaving for UAE. Every teams have booked chartered planes for their team, management & support staff and are planned to land in Dubai and Abu Dhabi by evening itself. Players & management are seen all packed in PPE kits.
After landing in UAE, team players & staff will be following the robust testing protocols set by the BCCI, teams will be under quarantine for 6 days as per the protocols. International players will be joining the team by next week.

In 6 days, quarantine period, three tests will be conducted on day1, 3 & 6. If all the tests return negative, the members of the team will enter the bio-secure environment & undergo tests every fifth day for the entire tournament.
Before end of this week all 8 teams will reach UAE, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be leaving on Friday for UAE. Delhi Capitals is scheduled to reach UAE on Saturday, with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
BCCI delegation is all set to leave on 22nd August to do recce of the facilities in the UAE. Dream11 IPL 2020 will be starting from 19 September, the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians & Chennai Super Kings.
