Delhi Capitals Team previously knowns as Delhi Daredevils has not won a single IPL title. The team reached Playoffs at four occasions- 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2019 but failed to qualify for the final. Delhi Capital team finished last season league stages at 3rd position. In the elimination Round they were beaten by SunRisers Hyderabad. Since Ricky Ponting arrival as head coach in 2018, team performance has spiked up. Delhi will be looking for their first IPL title this season.

DelhiCapitals team have made few adjustments in thier roaster for the upcoming season. Delhi Capital roasted added Jason Roy (1.5 cr) Chris Woakes (1.5 cr), Alex Carey( (2.4 cr), Shimron Hetmyer (7.75), Mohit Sharma (50 lakh), Tushar Deshpande (20 lakh), Marcus Stoinis (4.8 cr) and Lalit Yadav (20 lakh)
Shreyas Iyer will lead the side for this season also. Delhi Capitals will be aiming to win their maiden IPL title this season. The team is guided by Australian veteran Ricky Ponting.

Shreyas Iayer (Captain)- Shreyas Iyer plays for Indian national team and made his debut in 2017. He also plays for Mumbai in domestic Circuit.
Shikhar Dhawan- He is also known as Gabbar. Shikhar starts the innings for Delhi Capitals. He also represents Delhi in domestic circuit.
Prithvi Shaw- Prithhvi Shaw is known for his super-fast innings. 20 years old was bought by Delhi Capitals in 2018.
Ajinkya Rahane- Ajinkya Rahane is Indian International who has vast experience of playing in IPL. He has scored 3500+ runs in 140 matches.
Risahbh Pant- Rishabh Pant is a versatile play who can play in top order and also in lower middle order. He is also the wicket-keeper of Delhi Capitals.
Ravichandra Ashwin- Ashwin has good experience of playing in IPL. His carrom ball is a lethal weapon.
Ishant Sharma - He joined Delhi Capitals in 2018. Ishant will hold the DC bowling command along with Kagiso Rabada.
Kagiso Rabada- Rabada is one of the best bowlers of the Delhi Capital side. He has taken 31 wickets in 18 IPL matches.
