IPL Yesterday Match Result and Winner: In match 27 of IPL 13, Mumbai Indians faced Delhi Capitals in the table-toppers clash. Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets and dethroned Delhi to regain the top spot. The winner of Yesterday IPL Match Mumbai Indians have now 10 points in seven games, Delhi Capitals also have same number of points, but the difference in their run rate is the reason for their position in the points table.

Mumbai Indians Quinton de Kock and Surya Kumar Yadav scored 53 runs each to grab the win for MI. Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat first. Trent Boult once again provided early wicket to MI as he sent back Prithvi Shaw (3). Rahane was given the first start of the season, he scored 15 runs before giving his wicket to Krunal Pandya. Dhawan and Iyer tie-up scored 85 runs and managed the innings for DC. Krunal Panday once again did the job for MI. He got Shreyas Iyer (42) out and broke the partnership. Chasing 162, Mumbai Indians lost Hitman in initial overs. Axar got Rohit Sharma out to put pressure on MI. Quinton de Kock (53) and Suryakumar Yadav (53) played superb innings and got Mumbai on the driving seat. Birthday boy Hardik Pandya couldn't do wonder and got on a golden duck. Kieron Pollard (11) and Krunal Pandya (12) finished the job for the team. Ishan Kishan (28) was another contributor for Mumbai Indians.

Quinton de Kock was awarded man of the match award. Mumbai Indians will next face Kolkata Knight Riders on October 16 at Shiekh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
