Boycott IPL Trends: BCCI retains Chinese sponsors, RSS & other organizations backlash BCCI for disrespecting Indian Army

Amid Corona Virus Pandemic, IPL is being held in UAE, after which there was a wave of happiness around the people. Matches will be commencing from 19th of September till 10th November. BCCI gave the confirmation after Central Government gave it a green signal, BCCI also retained its sponsorship with Chinese Company Vivo.

Due to which there was a blaze of backlash for BCCI, from various organizations one being RSS. RSS & other organizations said retaining Chinese sponsors is disrespecting our soldiers who gave their supreme sacrifice on 15th June in clash with Chinese soldiers.

One of the Sangh member said that on one side our soldiers are fighting in the border, giving supreme sacrifice. We as the citizen of country are boycotting every Chinese product but on the other hand BCCI is still retaining its sponsorship with Chinese Companies. It's an utmost disrespect for our soldiers & if BCCI does not breaks its ties with Chinese companies then we will boycott IPL this year.

“We lost our valiant 20 soldiers in Galwan Valley clash, from that very time every Indian citizen started boycotting Chinese apps & products in solidarity towards our brave soldiers. Even our government banned several apps, for the security matter. But BCCI made a Chinese company the title sponsor of IPL, this shows how much respect they have for our soldiers.” said Ashwini Mahajan.

He also added that he appeals the IPL organizers to re think about their decision. Or else it will leave a negative impact on people who are boycotting other Chinese products. Country is above all he said.

Chinese Company Vivo, the title holder sponsor of IPL gives around 440 Crore for the tournament every year. Let’s see what step BCCI will take as it is getting a wave of hatred all over. On one side everyone is excited for the IPL but on the contrary, there is whole lot of backlash.

BCCI received huge amount hatred & backlash on twitter as well, hashtags like boycott IPL, boycott BCCI were trending for retaining the Chinese sponsors. As earlier Indian Government banned various Chinese Apps for the security & safety of Countrymen & also as digital strike against China.
