1) No batsman reaching double figures in an innings
India registered their Lowest-ever Test Score as none of their batsmen got into the double figures in an innings, the first time in Indian cricket history of 65 years. However, this has happened for the second time when any team managed to score without having their batsmen failed to score into the double-figure mark. Earlier when South Africa and England played against each other at Edgbaston in 1924, it was Proteas, who was bundled out for a paltry 30 vs ENG. No Proteas batsmen reached into double figures, Herbie Taylor (7) was the top run-scorer for SA.
2) SL beat WI Bridgetown 2018 (WI - 1st innings lead 50); AUS beat IND Adelaide 2020 (IND - 1st innings lead 53)

It was only the second time in Day/Night Tests, any team trailing in the 1st innings cruised to victory in Tests. Earlier, Sri Lanka defeated West Indies when West Indies took lead by 50 in their first innings back in 2018 in Bridgetown.
3) India has lost the first Test of a series (2+ Tests) outside Asia

India drew 1-1 with Australia in 1980/81, England in 2002 and it had leveled with South Africa in 2010/11 series.
