BCCI President Saurav Ganguly discharged from Woodlands Hospital, thanks to medical staff and fans

'I thank the doctors at the hospital for the treatment. I am absolutely fine. Hopefully, I will be ready to fly soon,' The BCCI President Saurav Ganguly said after being discharged from Woodlands Hospital in Kolakata.

Saurav Ganguly has been discharged from Kolkata hospital

Saurav Ganguly News: The BCCI President Saurav Ganguly has been discharged from the hospital in Kolkata on Thursday according to the reports. Speaking to the reporters, Dr. Rupali Basu, MD, and CEO of Woodlands Hospital has said that the condition of Sourav Ganguly is clinically well and good, will be resumed to normal life within three to four weeks. After discharge, Ganguly thanked the Woodlands hospital doctors, staff, and his fans who prayed for his well being.

"I thank the doctors at the hospital for the treatment. I am absolutely fine. Hopefully, I will be ready to fly soon," said Ganguly after being discharged.

On Saturday, the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) President suffers a heart attack and has just gone through minor angioplasty and he has been admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata after suffering a mild cardiac arrest.

Earlier this week, Saurav Ganguly had also cleared the air about him joining politics ahead of West Bengal Assembly elections this year. He had stated that he went to meet the state's Governor upon invitation. State Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar had met Ganguly to discuss various issues and agreed to visit Eden Gardens on his invitation.
