Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) approves ten teams from the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022), in its 89th Annual General Meeting during the meeting which is still in progress in Ahmedabad. The BCCI AGM has already started at 12 PM onwards.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah is taking the meet along with President Saurav Ganguly, both took a vital decision to approve the two new teams to the Indian Premier League from the 2022 season.
Meanwhile, the meet is still in progress in Ahemadabad, Gujarat. The other major agendas in the BCCI AGM Meeting will be Tax Exemption for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup, the inclusion of Cricket in Olympics 2028 among others.
