BBL 2020-21 HBH vs ADS Highlights: In the 8th match of BBL 10, Adelaide Strikers crushed Hobart Hurricanes by five wickets at Aurora Stadium, Launceston on Tuesday. A comprehensive win for the Strikers, thanks to 107-run-stand between Jake Weatherald and Alex Carey to knock down the below-par target. Skipper Alex Carry amassed a quick-fire glitzy half-century while Jake Weatherald steered the Strikers to victory without any further harm. In short, Siddle and Weatherald shine for Adelaide Strikers open their account on the table.

The ruthless bowling performance from Adelaide Strikers especially Peter Siddle, who took his maiden T20I five-wicket haul, and he was equally supported from the other end as well. Peter Siddle finished with five for 16 in his 3.3 overs. Siddle was named as 'Player of the Match' for his extraordinary bowling spell.

Earlier, Adelaide Strikers have won the toss and opted to field. Hobart Hurricanes made no changes in their lineup while Alex Carry leads the Adelaide Strikers for the first time this season. Hobart Hurricanes faltered badly and lost 20/3 at one stage then followed by a 75-run partnership between Colin Ingram and Ben McDermott. Tim David played a cameo 24 off 15 to cruise the Hurricanes out for a paltry 146 in 19.3 overs.

For the first time in the season, we saw we see the X-factor substitutes. Firstly, Hobart Hurricanes make a change as Peter Handscomb-led side brings Mac Wright in place for Johan Botha while Adelaide Strikers replace spinner Danny Briggs with Matthew Short.
