Bangladesh vs West Indies BAN vs WI 2nd Test Live: After elected to bat first in the ongoing second Test between Bangladesh and West Indies (BAN vs WI), the Windies openers make merry and take full advantage of loose deliveries. Kraigg Brathwaite along with John Campbell stitched a useful 66-run stand for the opening wicket. Campbell though departs for 36 to a slog sweep and Windies also lost an early Review as well. Skipper Kraigg Brathwaite (45*) though is in no mood to let the opportunities down.

Despite losing two early wickets, Brathwaite continues to impress, nudging Nayeem to the fine leg fence for four. He has been rock-solid and Bangladesh speedsters will do well to avoid a leather hunt post Lunch session. West Indies are 98/2 after opted to bat first here at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Taijul Islam and Abu Zayed picked up a piece of wickets for the hosts.

Moreover, The visitors kick-start their proceedings on an aggressive note against the pace-spin duo of Abu Jayed and spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz. However, against the run of play, Jayed bowled beautifully and won an LBW appeal against opener John Campbell, but the southpaw placed his belief in the review, with the ball-tracker showing it would miss the stumps with a narrow margin.

Campbell didn't spare Nayeem either, lofting and sweeping the off-spinner to the boundary. Eventually, Campbell was trapped in front of wickets and departs for a well-made 36. However, Campbell decided to review the decision, he couldn't overturn it this time around.

Earlier, the hosts have lost an important toss on a very flat deck. The hosts have made three changes in the lineup - Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Abu Jayed come in for Shadman Islam, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mustafizur Rahman. While Alzari Joseph comes in for Kemar Roach for the Windies.
