A ruthless Indian pace attack led by Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami demolished Australia A in the second practice match at SCG. After decided to bat first, Team India has made 194 on the back of Bumrah's maiden first-class fifty. In reply, the Aussies have hardly crossed the 100-run mark. In the second inning, Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant both slammed their maiden first-class tons put Team India upfront with one day to go. At Stumps on Day 2, India is 386/4 and has a commanding lead of 472 runs over Australia A.

Hanuma Vihari notched up a classic hundred 104* off 194 balls, including 13 fours. After that, another ton has come for India in the form of Rishabh Pant. Pant took just 73 balls to reach his 100, he was in top gear and played a blitz cameo especially before the close of day two, he took 22 off the final over to bring up his first-ever hundred in his List-A career. Rishabh Pant and Hanuma Vihari put 147 runs together for the fifth wicket. For Australia A, Mark Steketee was the pick of the bowlers with 2/54.

This day-night match at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) will allow the players to get a feel of conditions during India’s first-ever overseas day-night (D/N) Test.
