AUS vs IND 4th Test Playing XI: Ajinkya Rahane-led Team India has a concern about its players who are constantly getting injured one by one for the ongoing India tour of Australia. The team received another setback on Tuesday when Jasprit Bumrah has ruled out of the series-decider Test due to an abdominal strain. All these will be missing the series-deciding match starting Friday in Brisbane after sustaining their respective injuries. Take a look at India's likely XI for the 4th Test between India and Australia, kick start on Jan 15 in Brisbane.
Not only this, the hero of Sydney Test Hanuma Vihari, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, and the most recent is opener Mayank Agarawal who sustain an injury while practicing in nets. As a subsequent replacement, T Natarajan is expected to be slotted in India's playing XI, given his relatively better performance in recent times. Washington Sundar may replace the injured Jadeja while for the opening slot, Mayank Agarwal could be fitted ahead of the much-anticipated 'The Gabba Test'.
India’s list of injured and absent cricketers on tour to Australia has grown again. Ravindra Jadeja has surgery on his left thumb after India’s courageous finish at the SCG, where injured Rishabh Pant, R Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari helped India bat through the final day to salvage a draw and keep the Border-Gavaskar series level at 1-1.

Jadeja's absence for the final test in Brisbane will deprive India of a key all-rounder, while the absence of strike bowler Jaspreet Bumrah would be a major setback for an already depleted Indian pace attack that is missing injured bowlers - Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, and Ishant Sharma.
Tamil Nadu spinner Washington Sundar, who was asked to stay back in Australia after the white ball series, now stands a huge chance to wear the Test whites for the fourth Test, alongside Ashwin, if the latter is declared fit to play the final match in the ongoing India tour of Australia. Sundar being considered by the team management, because of his ability to bowl and also bat a bit, will mean there will be no place for Wriddhiman Saha to get in the XI.
Moreover, Rishabh Pant (elbow strain), R Ashwin (back pain), and Hanuma Vihari (hamstring strain) will all be monitored before India selects their playing XI for the Gabba Test, where Australia hasn’t lost a Test match since 1988.
