AUS vs IND 2nd Test India's Playing XI: The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has announced Team India Playing XI against Australia for the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The much-anticipated match to commence at 5:00 AM IST. Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammad Siraj are in the playing XI for the Boxing Day Test, starting from tomorrow at MCG. As the Indian team already trails by 0-1 in the four-match Vodafone Test series, India will take on the all-mighty Aussies in the absence of regular captain Virat Kohli. Ajinkya Rahane led team will have two debutants in the form of Shubman Gill and Mohammad Siraj in their playing XI. While Wriddhiman Saha has been replaced by Rishabh Pant and flamboyant all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is also making a comeback to the Indian side.

Young lad Mohammed Siraj will step in to fill the void left by crafty pacemen Mohammed Shami’s injury and it will depend on Rahane as to how utilizes Moahhamd Siraj's bowling potential.

Their opponent, Australia, on the other hand, likely to head with unchanged their playing XI in the Melbourne Test.
