The Border-Gavaskar Test Series' opening match is being played between India and Australia (IND vs AUS 1st Test D/N) at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. India tour of Australia, 2020-21 will be kick-starting from today onwards at 9:30 AM IST. Team India finished 41 for the loss of two wickets after the end of the first session on Day 1. The two perfectionist Cheteswar Pujara and skipper Virat Kohli are on the crease for India.
Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bat first. But the visitors started unexpectedly with Prithvi Shaw's poor dismissal adding another duck in his consecutive streak under his belt. Mayank Agarwal looked solid during his brief-stay but in the 19th over, Pat Cummins set him up and with his in-swinging delivery to keep India two down 30 minutes inside the dinner break. After that, Pujara-Kohli played some watchful shots and maneuvering singles in between at the end of the first session of the four-match series.
Interestingly, India has never lost a Test match whenever Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli wins the toss while Australia has never lost a day-night Test up till now.
