Australian middle-order batsman Ben McDermott and all-rounder Jack Wildermuth slammed centuries against India in the second warm-up match in Sydney but couldn't bag the match for Australia. Both the captain agreed to settle the match for a draw. Meanwhile, the Aussies fight hard till the end and played some eye-catching shots in their unbeaten 165-run stand for the fifth wicket. Ben McDermott and Wildermuth remain unbeaten on 107, 111 respectively, the match resultant in a draw at SCG.
However, the Australian team certainly boosts some confidence ahead of the much-awaited series against Virat Kohli-led Team India (IND vs AUS), kick-starting on Dec 17. McDermott and Wildermuth flourish against India with their respective centuries.

Earlier, India declared their overnight score and set a mammoth target of 473 for Australia A. Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant hits centuries and remained unbeaten on 104 and 103 respectively at stumps on day two. Indian Pace-quartets Bumrah, Shami, Saini, and Siraj showed their intent with the 'Pink-ball' in the last and final practice match which resulted in a draw.
