BBL 10 Sydney Sixers vs Sydney Thunder Highlights: Thunder won by 46 runs
Brief Score: Sydney Thunder - 232/5 (20) (Hales 110, Ferguson 42; Dwarshuis 3/38)
Sydney Sixers - SYS 186/5 (Henriques 56, Silk 42; Sangha 2/34)
MOM - Alex Hales
Sydney Thunders defeat the table-toppers Sixers by 46 runs in the 48th BBL match played in Adelaide as their in-form batsman Alex Hales notched his maiden BBL ton. In reply, the Sixers have managed to reach up to 186 for 5, eventually lost the game at the hands of Thunder at Adelaide Oval. The rookie top-order batsman entertained all and blasts a 56 ball 110. The Thunder managed to be good enough and never allowed the Sixers to threaten their set target. Now, Hales-inspired Sydney team climbs third on the points table with 27 points.
With this scintillating century, Hales goes top of the run-scores list with 452 runs from 12 matches, including one hundred* and two fifties. This is the second-highest score by a Thunder player. Henriques managed a fifty but they needed plenty more from him and others. The bowling wasn't too accurate but good enough to restrict their city fellows.

Hales played a blinder of a knock (110 off just 56), comprising 9 fours and 8 massive sixes and equally supported by his teammates at the top-order which laid the platform for the boosting win. Alex Hales has also adjudged 'Player of the Match' for his blistering innings.
Earlier in the evening, opting to bat, Sydney Thunder posted a mammoth total on the board on the back of Hales blitz ton. Hales produced an innings that was loaded with some eye-catching shots. Skipper Callum Ferguson, Sam Billings, and all-rounder Ben Cutting also play their part and Thunder registered their highest-ever BBL total of 232/5 from their 20 overs.
Contributions all the way through the middle order as well, capped by a quickfire cameo from Ben Cutting. For Sixers, Ben Dwarshuis was the pick of the bowlers as he picked three wickets by conceding 38 runs in his 4 overs spell.
